The Gazette
Monday, 27th July 2026

Dear reader,

It feels good to be writing to you again.

Things have been quietly taking shape on Stream Street over the past few weeks. There have been signs to hang, shelves to organise and plenty of small jobs to finish, but at last it is beginning to feel less like somewhere we are moving into and more like somewhere we can call home.

Along the way, we have been making lots of changes, but there is one small milestone that has made us smile more than most.

The Gazette has finally found a home of its own.

If you happen to visit gazette.streamstreet.co.uk, you'll find every letter we've written neatly filed away, ready whenever you fancy a read. It feels rather fitting that The Gazette has ended up with its own little stand, just a few steps down form the shops.

There are still one or two finishing touches taking place behind the scenes. We still need to sort out how these letters arrive in your inbox as we continue to move permemneltry onto The Street, ather pleased to have finally hung the sign above the door.

You may have noticed that our old blog-style weekly brew posts have quietly disappeared. In their place, we've simply started sitting down and writing you letters to you instead. We hope they leave you feeling as though we've had a proper catch-up over a nice cup of tea.

That feels much more like us.

So, whenever there's something worth sharing from The Street, this is probably where you'll hear it first.

Some weeks there'll be news. Other weeks there might be stories from the shops, new arrivals or little discoveries we've stumbled across. Occasionally it may simply be a few thoughts from behind the counter. Whatever finds its way into these pages, we hope it always feels like something written because we wanted to write to you, rather than because we felt we ought to.

Yours sincerely,
